INGREDIENTI
  • 1 watermelon
  • blackberries, just enough
  • fresh mint
  • Port or white rum, discretionary
COME PROCEDERE
  1. Using a sharp knife, cut top and bottom off of the watermelon to get a cylinder of about 20 cm thick.
  2. Place the cylinder on a serving dish.
  3. Using a vegetable corer, get some little balls from the pulp of the extremities of the watermelon and put them on the base of the cake.
  4. Garnish with blueberries and leaflets of mint.
  5. Keep in the fridge until it’s time to serve.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle cold Port or white rum on the cake.
NOTE
If the cake is for kids, DON’T add alcohol! You can use lime juice blended in brown sugar. If you prefer, you can also add some dark chocolate chips on the cake.
