INGREDIENTI
  • 110 g of butter
  • 300 g of brown sugar
  • 55 g of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 level teaspoon of baking powder
  • 260 g of all-purpose flour
  • 100 g of dark chocolate chips
  • fleur de sel (for sprinkling)
  • Nutella hazelnut cream
  • 15 toffee
COME PROCEDERE
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line two baking sheets with baking paper.
  2. In a double saucepan, melt the butter over a low heat.
  3. Remove from heat, add the sugar and the two eggs lightly beaten. Stir with a wooden spoon.
  4. Add the sifted cocoa powder, the salt and the baking powder, stirring well to combine.
  5. Fold in the sifted flour and stir well until you have a smooth and homogeneous dough.
  6. Lastly, add the chocolate chips and stir well.
  7. Using a small spoon, form 15 little balls of dough.
  8. Arrange them at intervals in the baking sheet.
  9. Place a toffee in the centre of each cookie.
  10. Place a teaspoon of hazelnut cream on the top and then reseal the cookies with a little dough. Using your fingers, press well on their borders to avoid the stuffing leaking out during baking.
  11. Sprinkle with the fleur de sel and bake for approximately 10 mins. or until they are golden brown.
  12. Take the cookies out of the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.
